Wedding Rental Expenses-What to expect when you rent a tent

Once you decide that you are having your ceremony and reception at an outdoor location, what do you have to rent?  The most important item  will be the tent.  That said, there are a number of options that you might want to add to your tent:  Do you want to add a floor?  You need to know that a floor can cost as much as or MORE than your tent!  Do you want to line the tent?  Your tent lining can cost close to the same amount as your tent!  By adding  two options, you have added 3 times the cost for the rental.  Information that you need to know–if you are putting a tent on a level site, and the area is dry, then a grass “floor” can be lovely.  Alternately, if the ground is very soft or wet you may need a floor.  When planning your wedding, think about some of the expenses ahead of time, so you can make an informed decision and stay within your budget.
